Helping American Small Business Manufacturers sell to Federal, State, and Local Government.
This USBMA Working Group for Enterprise Software helps small businesses get their enterprise software in front of potential government buyers. Program Managers and Contracting Officers seek to understand and evaluate available market options that can help solve their specific software challenges and so they want to know what you have to offer.
WORK WITH US to register your software offering so we can help put it in front of those who need it.
Examples include: SaaS, downloadable enterprise software installed behind the customer's firewall, mobile apps, databases, low-code platforms, DevSecOps platforms, Zero-trust security solutions, business intelligence solutions, physical devices, virtual devices (containers), and just about anything else that's built for the enterprise (enterprise cloud and enterprise private network).
Our mentors are made up of members who work in the industry. They volunteer consulting services to help others navigate government regulations, policies, and procedures. Mentors may also work with you to develop strategies and solutions that meet your unique needs.
We provide research and analysis services to help you understand government markets and opportunities. Our team synchronizes with the latest data and has built tools to provide actionable insights that can help you succeed.
We provide marketing and communications services to help you reach your target audience in the government marketplace. Our team can help you develop effective messaging and campaigns that resonate with government decision-makers and we offer an opt-in advocacy to Program Managers and Contracting Officers tailored to specific product categories.
Members of this group have created a wide variety of enterprise and cloud software that are highly INTEROPERABLE and implement strong CYBERSECURITY practices along with Industry Standards for data exchange between systems.
The benefit to government is substantial with a wide variety of data products that can operate with one another in plug-n-play fashion, increasing productivity and meeting project goals more quickly than otherwise possible.
*** Interoperability in software engineering ensures different tools can work together, even if they aren’t designed with specific integrations in mind. This is particularly important for enterprises that use cloud-based solutions, as it can be hindered by problems associated with the integration of the cloud environment with on-premise systems. Interoperability makes integrating these diverse solutions much easier and more seamless, allowing for improved efficiency and productivity. it is important to note that relying on insecure ports and protocols can leave business and government networks vulnerable to cyberattacks, so the right cybersecurity practices and implementation are necessary to interoperability on your project. ***
The TWG has negotiated a deal for use of the Omega Software Licensing Platform. If you have great software but don't want to write your own licenser, we should talk. Omega SLP implements strong public/private key infrastructure, verifiable license certificates, automated assignment, WebApp for authorization of licenses, supports both GUI and headless applications, processor core-based licenses, seat licenses, and custom license implementations using your own logic.
